Wow Mary, had to think a little with this color combo! I decided to all lots of white to tone down the bold rich colors of the eggplant and mambo and river rock is the perfect subtle accent for these colors. In my opinion anyway I sponged river rock very very subtly on the edge of my regular ova before matting it on the white scallop oval, just to give a hint of color. I then popped up the oval and each layer of my flowers. Added half pearls for the centers of my flowers and it's done. And extra cookies for me cause I ACTUALLY rembered the dessert today!!!!!! TFL!!

I totally agree with what you stated, Mary. I took out each color of cs and just stared at them, then looked to see what I had in dp's, and when it was only melon decided to skip that. This card turned out so lovely! The bold colors look so pretty against all that white space, and your sentiment is awesome~

I made a couple of cards getting to the one I posted and I decided the key was to keep the accent on neutrals and just pop with those bold colors! Your card is very striking!!! I love it!!

Very pretty Mary and yes, I think you deserve a dozen cookies for doing the dessert this week ;) Your design is wonderful incorporating the flowers and flourish of your sentiment into the framing of the saying. Well done!
