This card is about to be mailed to David who is a golf and outdoor enthusiast. David is living with pancreatic cancer that the doctors have recently discovered has spread to his brain.
Masculine cards are not my forte as my husband and son will tell you! The sentiment is Flourishes, golf balls and tag K&Co, image was sent to me, grass is a MS punch, and leather strap is made with an old watch buckle and leather strip.

Elizabeth,
Your husband will have to admit that this is a most perfect masculine card - from the top to the bottom with the leather strap. Your image is awesome and colored wonderfully. I like the tag - really wonderful (gorgeous) card!!

Oh, but Elizabeth, there are so many little details on this that make it a wonderful guy card (I agree with you though, they're not easy for me either!). The papers are perfect and go so well with the vintage look of your golfer, and the little strap is totally inspired.

I just read your statement about Masculine cards not being your forte - well, you put that rumor to rest big time. Terrific image, and what a great bg you created.

Love this card! If this is an example of a "don't make guy cards" card, I am definitely not in your league! Thanks for a great idea to go find an image. I've been asked to make a golfer's birthday card for someone I don't really know. This is a terrific starting point. TFS.
