I'm having such fun with my new butterfly stamp! It is really versatile and just plain beautiful. This was my last, away from home stamping. I had the music sheet already torn and spritzed with a walnut stain. I embossed the butterfly in black ep and didn't add any color at all to it. I did use my Sahara Sand marker to add some shading around it. I then masked it and sponged with Tempting Turquoise and Island Indigo. I pierced my heart at the bottom (I know it is hard to see) I embossed my sentiment then die cut with the bitty banner framelit and sponged and spritzed it while in the die. I popped this up and added a linen thread bow.

I agree - that is a gorgeous butterfly and you used it to make a fantastic card. I really appreciate your description of the various steps. It really helps me notice the details better.
The turquoise on the sheet music is so pretty, and the shading at the edges of the butterfly lifts it right off the page!
Good job of mixing, masking, sponging, spritzing and piercing!
