I'm delighted to be a guest designer for the color challenge this month! The first challenge I ever did on SCS was this one....it's a fun one and does challenge me to think outside my usual box. So when I got a PM from Mary asking me to join the team, I answered with a big YES!! Thank you so much for thinking of me.
When I saw the colors for this week and the dessert I immediately thought of this stamp set from Character Constructions....It's a spring theme and I thought the pink and blue colors would go great. The white frame on this is the negative portion of a romantic rectangles die from Spellbinders. The blue dp is actually some stationery..it's part of a letter that my sister sent me..I loved the paper and thought..hmm, this would look great on a card..or wall hanging in this example. The seam binding is dyed to match the blue. I stamped around the edge with a branch and bird stamp using versamark. I hope you like it!

Congrats on being part of the design team, Polly. Your first creation is a real success. I love that you've designed it to look like a wall hanging. Plus, I always get a kick out of your unique style designs. I think someone already said that it reminds us of something straight out of the magazine.
