For Lesley's (aka lionsmane) Merry Monday Challenge over on her Always Playing with Paper blog, we were given a sketch challenge this week.
I used a 5" square card base with a dp that was shimmery blue on one side and a snowflake pattern on the other. It had some silver in the snowflake pattern so instead of the ribbon shown on the sketch, I used a narrow strip of silver with a vertical sentiment on it.
Both the sentiment and my focal image snowflake were stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with a sparkly white ep. The snowflake was stamped on white cardstock as I also wanted to do the Mix-Ability challenge from last week "It's not Hard to Resist" - use the embossing resist technique. After stamping and embossing the snowflake on the white cs, I cut it out with a Nestie, left the die in place, and sponged over the snowflake with a whole variety of blue inks until I got it more or less the colour of the dp.

Love the colours and sparkly snowflake and sentiment, Susan. A lovely fresh looking Christmas card. Thanks for playing at Merry Monday this week. Judy.
