This is also for the first mixed media challenge, MIX1. The challenge was to mix a matte finish with a shiny finish. I used embossing powder on the dandelion. I used matte chalks for the BG. Then I hair sprayed it to set the chalks. I then dusted a pearlescent white chalk over the dandelion.

Hey Brat, you did a great job case-ing the Queen's card this week. That's no easy task, is it? I LOVE the nestie you used and look at all those techniques "Ms. No Copics and Blogless is Seattle"! You did such a terrific job with the dandelions and I love images with floating dandelions. This is beautiful!

So pretty - the bg colors are so soft, and perfect with the dandelion. I like the pearly finish on it, too. Wonderful card!
