This is my first sketch challenge and what a fun one it was. Getting a jump start on the holidays with the Christmas Card Challenge also. The designer paper was stamped with a background stamp and matted on black. The snowman was embossed with black and colored with pencils and copics. I added a metal embellishment in place of the banner. I used a plastic needlepoint grid to punch even holes for stitching. The color is more red but looks brown in the photo.
Thanks for looking.

This is SO wonderful! Your snowman really pops against your panels and I love that you used the metal embellishment instead of the banner. So creative!

All of your little "extras" paid off-this is a wonderful, unique Christmas card. There is such a warmth and homey feel to the card; love your stitching and the "25".

Oh my gracious, your first sketch challenge is wonderful. Don't be a stranger to them in the future. Love your snowman, and I am putting this in my faves
