This card is for Martha in Pearland, Texas. She is Cindy's (Mothermark) Aunt. Shortly after Thanksgiving Martha and her husband took a spur of the moment trip with another couple to NYC. Martha's husband had a massive heart attack and died there. Martha's life has been turned upside down and she sure could use a dose of teapotter love.
There was quite a tale to go along with the teaparty and the offering of extra cookies to finish the tale...
Princess Phoebe was in such a state of shock to see her little grey feathered birdie was actually a SWAN! Excitedly she ran to find Old Maggie (who had helped tend to Beauty when she was found as a chick) at the castle.
Old Maggie was in shock too! But being the quick thinker, Old Maggie called her manager and got a book deal and the rights to the story. Phoebe was aghast! Didn't she deserve some of the profits? Afterall, she did help too. So Old Maggie laughed and said, "If you can make a dance about the story, I will let you take the profits from that."
And that is how one of the most popular Ballets came to be, of course you know it...Swan Lake. In the end Phoebe made lots of $$$ and Beauty not only has the ballet, she also has a skin care line on HSN! At least that is what I heard. LOL
Hopefully this little cottage with gardens filled with roses and sunflowers will bring a little cheer to Martha. I added a little tag too. Thanks for taking a peek!

Kathleen this is such a pretty card. I love the little cottage and then that sun is awesome. I have a thing about sun and moon stamps. I like all the little roses and the framing is so pretty. Another beauty!
