This week our cards are headed off to Pearland Texas, to the Aunt of Cindy (Mothermark).Martha's DH recently passed away from a heart attack, while they were visiting NYC. Martha is in needs of a healthy dose of Teapotter love.
This is the second swan I did this past weekend. The first was a white one on the same shaving creamed bg, but just wasn't very visible, so I did another in black. This shaving cream bg was done last year in October, while I was visiting my Mom. Instead of using inks, we used paints. Either way works nicely.
The swan is from an old Can Do pattern book, and no longer available.
The tulips are from a stamp from Stampa Rosa and is no longer available. They are framed, but I fussy cut them for this card. They are colored with Tombow Markers. IRL they are pink, not the coral that you see here.
I need to get a grass strip die, it would have been perfect here.

Oh wow! The tulips are beautiful, but the swan, oh my. Black swans are so hard to photograph - embroidery is definitely the way to capture them. I love the green and black combination.

This looks great. Don't know what I did with my swan, but I know it never got onto a card. It might even be around here somewhere. It was done on blue wallpaper in white. But I sure do like what you did with this one.
