Actually this was not a lot of work. I just used the diamond Quikcutz embossing folder on both the silver shimmer and then on regular burgundy card stock and cut out and pasted some of the burgundy diamonds onto the card to simulate an argyle sweater. It makes up very quickly.

I love this card.. I struggle with designs for the men. how did you do the card and is the white collar shirt part jus a small piece or is it the card base?? also how did you get the tie so perfect
@tjgritts: Thank you for your kind comments. I used ordinary white cardstock cut 4.25 "by 11 " and scored at 5.5". I used an exacta knife and cut an opening along the center third of the fold and then down the center of the cut to make the open shirt collar effect. I then used a grey shimmer cardstock and cut and scored in the same way. I repeated the center cut on the fold making the cut a little longer than I had on the white cardstock and made the cut down the center for the sweater opening quite a bit longer than I had on the shirt. Next I put the grey front into a diamond design embossing folder embossing only the front. I also embossed a piece of burgundy cardstock with the same folder and cut out some of the diamonds. I glued then into an argyle design on the grey embossed front. I used a corner rounder punch to make the top edge look like shoulders. I placed the white cardstock inside the grey shimmer cardstock and glued the front of the white cardstock to the back side of the embossed grey shimmer front only. If you try to glue both the front and the back of the white cardstock to the grey, it will not open and close nicely, so leave the back unglued. It does not effect the way the card looks at all. For the tie, I used some narrow Christmas ribbon and tied a simple knot simulating a tie. If you play around with the ribbon a bit, you will get something you like. I then glued it in place. I used real buttons on the sweater, but other options are out there. The greeting comes from a sheet of similar tags that I order from www.ecstasycrafts.com So, there you go. It really doesn't take long and isn't very hard. As you cans see, I have also done some using the swissdot embossing folder rather than an argyle pattern. Have fun!
