What a fantastic site for today's inspiration! I really enjoyed browsing the pages of MacKenzie-Childs. I chose this enamel child's plate as my inspiration. I used the emboss resist method for the rooster image and sponged all the papers with Brilliance inks. The background was made using the yellow ink on a dotted stencil, embossed and then sponged with a pink color. It's hard to see in the photo but that ink really gives it a shimmery appearance.

Polly, I must admit when I suggested this site, I thought of you. You are an expert of mixing color, patterns and design into really wonderful and unique cards. I thought this would be "right up your alley". Hope it was. Your card has all the charm of their wares and I love how you did "Miss Chicken".

Bright and beautiful!! This rooster is very handsome, looking as if he owns the card! How interesting that you and Sabrina chose the same inspiration piece and are side by side!!
