I have been procrastinating making this card, It is for my Cousin Janice who's 17 year old daughter Nicole was taken from her as a result of a senseless act of violence a couple of weeks before Christmas.
I followed Sabrina's Clean and simple design and although I maintained a neutral colour combination, I kept it fairly subtle. If you are a person who prays, please keep Janice and her Family in your thoughts and prayers

What a very sad reason to make such a beautiful card - I'm sure this hand made gesture will be appreciated by the family - I will certainly keep them in my prayers...

Oh Vicki, what a tragedy! I will certainly pray for you and her family.....this wasn't Nicole from Milverton was it? I've been hearing a lot about that horrific event on the news around here.
This is such a beautiful monochromatic card. I love the image panel with the added white touches. It gives a serene feeling and is perfect for a sympathy card.
