Curious, how the need for sympathy cards comes in bursts. This one's for a friend who just lost her DH to lung cancer.
I used a negative mask, sponged with gray, plum and lavender, over stamped with the stamped-off flourishes and dots. I rocked and rolled the flowers and two-stepped the vase. The card base is kraft, which is sort of tan, right?
Hard to stamp through tears. Maybe it's therapy, and we all grieve in different ways.

Sympathy cards are hard to make...especially when needed. I am so sorry for your friends loss, and for you as well. This is so soft and beautiful, and she will love this and all that love you put with it. I just lost my MIL a few weeks ago and I noticed the first few days was hard but after a couple, making cards sure helped. You are very kind and thoughtful for your friend...TFS..:0)

What a beautiful card to express your sympathy. Look after yourself Brenda and remember there is a huge community right here thinking of you and your friend.

Beautiful CAS sympathy card. I'm sorry for your friends loss, as well as yours. Hopefully, as you say, you experienced some release while making the card. And ... I'm sure your friend will find comfort in this "reverent" design. Hugs.
