The current ODBD challenge is to use gold or silver. I'd already started another card last night, but when I saw the WT challenge this morning was to use birds, how could I not ink up my new Cardinal Ornament which arrived in the post yesterday . I didn't have a lot of time today, so I'll go back to my first card tomorrow!
A2 base, sponged with red ink.
For the background layer I sponged white card with Forest Moss and Tea Dye, and then misted with DIY gold glimmer mist - gold Perfect Pearls and water. After drying I stamped with the IO Pine inked with Forest Moss, and after trimming to size I swiped the edges with gold ink and embossed with gold EP. It's layered on black and then onto the base.
Ornament image stamped on white card and coloured with distress inks - fired brick, barn door, wild honey, tea dye, antique linen, tumbled glass, frayed burlap, walnut stain). I stamped the ornament cap onto glossy gold card and embossed with black ep, then popped the ornament up on foam dots, with gold cord running to the top of the card. Love those new bird ornament stamps!

------------------------------ We as people are raindrops of colorful ink , falling down Crisp and Clear, each a different shade more vibrant then the last, but once we realize at the bottom of an endless abyss we all fall into the same inkpot forming one color, only then can we come together as one My son.
