Hi Everyone!! This card is for today's Featured Stamper - Patty aka LaLatty. What a wonderful gallery - filled with so many beautiful creations!! Here's the one I kept going back to: { PattyÂ’s beautiful Seasons Greeting Card }
Changes were with card orientation, embossing folder, flower die and sentiment. I kept mine to one layer and added a punched border.
I decided to use my new Memory Box poinsettia die, so made a quick trip to Kittie's Blog for some help and found out she recently posted her 1000th web post! So this card is also being made as a Thank You to Kittie, for all her inspiration and wonderful tutorials!!
To make this card I chose the card size, punched and embossed the card front, then diecut the poinsettia, punched the little pine leaves, stamped and cut the sentiment tag and lightly glittered the embossed area and the poinsettia. Then I added an inside panel in the same red color used on the poinsettia - to bring out the punched lace detailing.
Thank you Patty for your wonderful inspiration today!! And thank you Kittie for all that you do .
Hugs everyone - and thanks for taking a peek.
Audrey

Beautiful card! I love the emb bkgrd w/the oh-so-pretty poinsettia that it looks like velvet. I also like the lace border and sparkle. I have some ready-made poinsettias that I will use to make a similar card. THANKS for the inspiration. I too follow Kittie's blog. She certainly has mastered crafting with dies.

Hey Audrey!! I first thought "Kittie", but when I saw your user name, I thought, ah yes, another master of the craft So STUNNING! Into my faves to try and case with my spellbinders die;) Your reds and greens are so vibrant with the beautifully embossed white oval topped off with that gorgeous banner sentiment. Love every teensy weensy detail.
