Vicky's challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week was to use just a portion of an embossing folder on our cards. I was lazy and didn't go down the double-embossing route which was my first thought. Instead I just embossed part of my card front with the Snowflakes ef and then sponged it with white. I'd been planning a simple one-layer card, but couldn't figure a way to emboss the angle I wanted on a card base, so I had to add a panel.
A2 kraft base.
Images are Penny Blacj, Merry Crittermas for the sentiment and Holly Day Critters for the mouse. The mouse is coloured with Couleur dÂ’Art pencils, Glossy Accents on puddle, white gel pen for snow, and I sponged the edges with black before popping it up on the card base with foam tape.

Wow - I have never thought to use part of an embossing folder in this way - it looks fantastic and I love how you highlighted the embossing with white. Such a sweet and happy mouse - he looks like he is saying "Wheeee! I'm having so much fun!". Gorgeous!

I always end up making something like that a layer also but, this looks so cool with only the partial embossing. love that you did it on Kraft and the white added to the embossing a lot!
