This is my second case of AudreyAnn, and I have loved visiting her gallery also and taking in all the beauty she shares. On paper, and in heart. I loved this card, and the description Audzie gave. AudreyAnn called this card “Song of my Heart”. She spoke of the peace and comfort that nature brings, just to hear the birds singing on her porch, and it made me mindful of all I have to be truly thankful for and to see the birds reminded me of how God takes care of them, and me.
I used my most well-loved image from Our Daily Bread Designs, You Will Find Refuge, and kept the rolled roses, leaves, stitching and swirly bling. This was so fun to put together, and I smiled to think of the peace that creating brings. Thank you AudreyAnn for a very good day! Hugs.....
I stamped leaves from SU's retired Wild Rose set over flowered designer paper, and the bird was also stamped over dp, and colored with Copics. This image is resting on a branch from Spellbinders. His eye has a coat of Crystal Effects, and once dry, I dotted it with White Get Pen. Awhile back I shared a tutorial on Rolled Roses, and you can view it HERE. It's not quite “pro”, but seems easy to follow. Hope you enjoy. The inside sentiment is also from ODBD and reads He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Psalm 91:4
Thanks for looking!

Oh my, Pat! This is gorgeous and that little chickadee is one of my faves, too. I love birds and never tire of watching them. Or of the antics of my two parrots. the little one is sick and has to stay in the "hospital" this weekend so I'm especially happy to see all the bird cards in the gallery. It's almost like they're cheering Odie (the sick little bird) on to get well!

Oh my goodness, another beauty. Roses are just beautiful and love the little bird on the branch. Absolutely love your cards, and of course, they even look better IRL.

He really is the most adorable little birdie, Pat. And, nestled among some of your treasured blooms, he takes on even more sweetness. What a lovely refuge you've created for your little feathered friend, and what a peaceful refuge the Lord has created for all who know and come to Him for it. Two beautiful hearts creating and inspiring. Love both of your hearts and work.

Is there any room left in the "Post a Comment" section for me to tell you how GORGEOUS this card is? Everything about this is a winner. You have created a scene that belongs in an art gallery. And the resplendent rectangles are the perfect frame for this masterpiece.

I happen to have this beautiful card from Audrey sitting above my desk that you cased. Yours and hers are absolutely stunning Pat. Those details are beyond imagination in my book just as Audrey's are. I'm tryin' to take it up a notch, but it's hard with you two in town! BEAUTIFUL! Hugs!
