well....THIS is my inspiration for sharing this card in the Inspiration Challenge.
However, I can't claim the design of this card. Impression Obsession did a demo at a LSS and this is the card I made that day. It is such a cool technique that I thought I should share it here. The image was stamped on acetate with Stazon Black. 'Splotches' of white acrylic paint was added on the back side of the acetate to give depth and dimension. On the actual base of the card we stamped clouds. Then added the ribbon and sentiment. I just love the depths the acrylic paint adds to the scene.
Photographing the acetate made it a little more muddy than it is in real life. Sorry about that.
Thanks for looking. I am hoping to have some time to play and make a 'new' card for the challenge later.

Wonderful card! Love the images and the technique to use layers behind and atop to create the depth you mentioned. At first glance I thought it was a photo w/added stamping. Thanks for explaining how you did it.

Well I'm not sure I understand the technique as I've never used acetate and rarely acrylics, but whatever you did was very effective. The scene looks so realistic. Good job!
