This is for the inspiration challenge and the inspiration photo is in the first post. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I took my inspiration obviously from the dragonfly but also from the glow of the light and the colors for my sunflowers and ivy.
I hadnÂ’t planned on the sentiment as a layer but when you drop the stamp and get a double image you first say a few choice words about being clumsy and then figure a way to fix it and this worked.
The images are colored with ink and aqua painter. I sponged all over the card with Bliss Blue - straight up and down motion leaving a moon area, and then I did a sponge drag from off the card towards the center with Night of Navy leaving the highlight for the moon. So Saffron was drag sponged on the light layer. A stamp positioner was used to help guide the images but donÂ’t worry about the wings because they are transparent!

Rox this is so beautiful & such a great creation from the inspiration photo!! I love the sentiment as a layer. It has just the right amount of noticeability, I think.

OMGosh Rox that is GORGEOUS! And you used my 2 fave things...dragonfly and sunflowers! I see what you see...him hovering above the sunflowers. It's fabulous!

I love the sunflower and the green leaves but that bug really gives me the heevie jeevies. It also looks too big for the flowers. I'm sorry to say when I look at it all I see is the bug. Still shaking here from the image. Of course, I don't like bugs.
