I had this set out on my table, so reached for it again using our sketch. I went for a dark base and sponged the colors onto the nestie shape with the nestie still in place. That gives you the nice white edge. The wide ribbon serves as the horizontal panel.

This is so so cool. I love the herringbone paper paired with that striped ribbon. it's WOW! That wide ribbon is great for a panel, I have used it that way myself several times. I love the frame you used for your image. It's compliments your paper and ribbon so nicely!

Wow! I love how you used these colors. The patterns of stripes and chevrons are splendid together. I need to say the sponged silhouette is beautiful too. Great card!!
