This is Tickle a Teapotter week, yippee!! The week where we do a random exchange with a fellow Teapotter!
Since I have been very ill, I had the time to do a paper embroidery card. Don't look too closely, you can see where my stitches weren't very good, I was in a lot of pain then.
This is pretty darn close to the featured Teapot this week.
The holly and berries were just one pattern that I used 3 times. It's meant to be colored in when done. The little mouse is from a separate pattern. I used chalks for the coloring part. Merry Christmas is from a CLD die. The green bg is embossed with a Sizzix ef.
I hope that whoever gets this tickle will enjoy the little scene.

Your card embroidery is so beautiful and so unique, Jennifer. I'm so sorry you've been ill - I can't believe you could produce something so detailed and lovely while in pain! I hope you'll soon be feeling much, much better, mf!

Jennifer, how do you do it? You create beautiful work even when you're very ill! The embroidered holly and berries (and that darling mouse) look fantastic. I especially love how the embroidery and embossing have a similar design.

I can't imagine doing this while in pain! You did an excellent job and I love this. I hope that you are feeling better and are on the speedy road to recovery.

Jennifer this is so pretty. Wow the patience to do embroidery to begin with is amazing and to do it while in pain! I love holly so. A very lovely card. I sure hope you're feeling better.

Jennifer I am so sorry to hear that you are ill. I hope that this is self limiting and that you are on the mend. As for your card - this is wonderful! I love your paper embroidery (especially your little mouse!), and your choice of colors is perfect. Beautifully done, feel better!
