This card is for our son Patrick for his birthday.
HoundÂ’s-tooth EF (this is the way spell check says this is spelled but it looks funny to me)
Unknown HoundÂ’s-tooth design paper
Black button from Jo AnnÂ’s (My floor ate one of these when I dropped it...Never did find it)
Black and white ribbon from Jo AnnÂ’s
Spellbinder banners
Unknown clear Happy Birthday sentiment
Black and white twine ( the search for this twine caused me to organize 5 years of 1-3 yard pieces of ribbon stashed in bags until 2:30 in the morning. (Organized by color in clear bags) I think this twine came from my local scrapbook store.
Black Versafine ink
Black SU cardstock
I made a pocket with the same HoundÂ’s-tooth design paper for the inside to hold the gift cards and used a Spellbinder to create a fancy top for the pocket. I then used another Spellbinder label to put my inside sentiment on the pocket itself. I should have taken a picture of the inside because I was very pleased with how it turned out.

Peggy, what a wonderful card for Patrick's birthday!! Love the black and white ... so classic and totally masculine with the houndstooth embossing and DP. Perfect accents with the stitched ribbon, button and twine.

Patrick is going to absolutely love it. Not because it is made especially by his 'Mommy' (LOL) but because it is one fantastic looking card!!! You can never go wrong with classic black and white and this little gem is living proof. Totally awesome!!
