Once in awhile, you hear a really sweet story, and this past week, my Sis was part of a really great story. As she sat the kitchen of her farmhouse built in 1910, a car came into the driveway. She met the visitors on the front porch, who were standing in amazement, admiring Kathy's home.
She asked if hey were lost, or if they needed help, and the elder lady, now 90, explained she had grown up in this home. Her Father built that home. She showed Kathy were the windmill used to be, and she smiled. Her daughter stood next to her. Kathy gave them the grand tour and they shared stories and memories, and they are coming back.
This is one of the cards I made for Kathy's new friends, using "Best Friends Forever", from Tin Can Mail. The background clouds were made by sponging a soft blue over a torn paper towel, and the leaves from Rubbernecker's Kittie Kits were stamped over top. The bottom is framed with Rolled Roses.
Thanks for looking!

What a sweet story! And you're creating treasures as always. It was so nice to see your smiling face in a comment on one of my cards. Still crafting in this corner of the world.
