If you are reading this it must mean I was able to up-load the card. Last week it took like forever, plus I had to try three different internet browsers. Finally on my lap top using Google Chrome I was able to git-er-done. Not sure what the problem is, but I hope it stops. Takes longer to up-load than to make the whole card! iee ee yi yi!....continuing on with my storyÂ….
Not being one to go on cruises, stomach can’t take that kind of motion, I decided to send Curt. Hopefully after floating all day he will get some sea legs and enjoy the “boat” ride. hehe….
Curt was a little leery at first about going on a cruise and all. BUT after much thought he went for it, figured if he just floated in the pool he wouldn’t even realize he was “on the ocean”! Plus he could hang out with Woo in the sun.
So with drink in hand or hoof in his case he set out on his floaty only to find out he was “swimming with a shrimp”! AND a big one at that!! At least he looks friendly. Confused?!?.....go here for another crazy Teapot Tuesday Story…..
Used a Curt image from the past and just drew the scene around him. Coloring was done with copics.

Love the happy, cheerful style of drawing you used in this (with your little tugboat/cruiseship in the background). it looks like Curt has met the original "jumbo shrimp."

I'm right there with Curt, just out of scene, on my floatie!! Now who put that shrimp in the pool, he's supposed to be on the barbie! I love this scene, Cathy!! I hope were off to somewhere nice and tropical!!
Wow, you do quilting too! You are one talented lady!! Yes, please do share a photo when you're finished. I'm glad that Curt gets to be on it!!

Great card. Curt should be safe in the 4' deep end though I do wonder what they've been feeding that shrimp. Obviously the jumbo shrimp variety. An oxymoron if ever there was one.

LOL So cute!!! Another wonderful tale of the advertures of Curt!!! But I do have to say I am a little sad that you will not be cruising with us. Plus, are you really sure about sending Curt? There is always a steak night on every cruise I have ever been on, and I wouldn't want Curt wandering down the passageway too close to the galley!!! That could be a CURTastrophy!!!
LOVE your amazing drawing and your colors are so wonderful!!! Little shrimpy with his body half in the water-colored perfectly!!! And that is not so easy!!! Thank you for sharing your art and a tale because you always delight us!!!

Curt looks pretty relaxed and not too worried about that shrimp. I think it's the shrimp that should be worried because I hear a lot of the tea potters love shrimp with their cocktails!
