For many years I have made Independence Day cards to send to my relatives and friends who have served in the military. I don't want them to ever forget how much I appreciate the fact that they put their life on the line to protect our lives, our freedoms. God Bless them for their service and all of those who are protecting us now!

Congratulations Gabby, this is a wonderful card! And your write-up is so appreciated. My family still serves. My husband served 21 years and continues that line of work today (as we like to say - in a different suit). Our daughter serves in a capacity I cannot speak about. And I am a former navy wife and CIA officer who evacuated a building near Dulles Airport on 9/11. We serve because we love. Thank you for this beautiful card and sentiment. You did a wonderful job and it was very deserving as a Favorite this week.
