This week's tea party is in the great outdoors...anywhere outdoors. To play along, take a stroll over to the teaparty: MMTPT198 ~ May 15, ~ THIS HERE DEAL IS A BIG WIN-WIN! by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
I decided to take a picnic up to the lake.
Stamped the GKD Trees in Garden Green on white CS, sponged with Bamboo Leaves to fill in the spaces. Stamped the boat from that set on paper that had been painted with Antique Linen crackle paint and set aside to dry. Sponged the sky with Bashful Blue and Baja and the lake with Caribbean. Stamped the reeds in Soft Suede and Limeade, then sponged the soil with Memento Desert Sand and Rich Cocoa. Covered the shorelines with Glossy Accents and added Micheal Strong's Beachy Sand product. Wove the picnic blanket from strips of red & white CS (realized about half way through that I probably should have used gingham ribbon or paper...). Stamped the Rubbernecker basket in Rich Cocoa, trimmed and ran through the SU EF. Added handles and a grommet with gold gel pen. Mounted all to a cream card and done. This card will be on its way to London, Ontario in the morning. PT - resting again
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Talk about tranquil and peaceful - there's nothing like being beside (or better yet, taking that boat out for a row) water for relaxing. The little basket is so sweet, and your woven rug very clever.

Wow this is so creative Marie. I love it all. What tickled my fancy the most was the rocky shore. OM-goodness that is awesome. I never heard of that stuff before. You learn something new everyday. I am now yearning to go on a picnic. This is just amazing.
