This week we are heading to Auckland, New Zealand to bring some happy mail to Eva. Eva is a sweet, 4 year old that has serious health issues. She lives at Auckland's Children's Hospital full time.
Eva's favorite colour is purple, and she also loves pink. She is a big Dora the Explorer fan and likes Makeup Mouse too. Here is the link to the Teapot Challenge information.
I found my Dora and Boots image on the internet - I googled "Dora the Explorer" colouring pages.
Image was coloured with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. I cut out an extra image and masked Dora and Boots (Monkey) ,sponged on the grass and the clouds. I made a popped up frame. Punched out the letters, fence, grass and flowers. I used a Sakura glitter gelly roll pen to add sparkle to the letters, hearts, flowers and top of the fence. Glued on the tiny rhinestones using crystal effects.
I just checked this weeks colour challenge - I think my colours are close enough that it will work. I have used bashful blue on the monkey (Boots), Dora shorts are orange, one of the matt layers is pumpkin pie and so are some of the letters, I have the green punched grass and the green sponged grass. and some of my flowers are a bright orange.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Love your sponging and the super BG scene that you made for Dora. The frame with Eva's name will bring her such joy...the punched elements in the foreground complete everything perfectly (as usual). Such a sweet card for Eva!
