This is for IC234 and Creative Wallcovering is our inspiration site. I was inspired by the blue version of Reflecting Bouquet found here: http://www.creativewallcovering.com/...lcovering.html
I wanted to try my hand at creating a flower that had the different shades of color like in the inspiration bouquet. I punched flowers from white cardstock, formed the petals, color washed with a light mixture of water. White the flower was still very wet I painted a dot of full reinkers to the center of the flower and quickly washed my brush and went back and moved the darker ink around on the center and lower petals. I heat dried and then formed the flower by pushing down on the center of the flower on a mat using a stylus. If you would like to see some step by step photos of how I created these flower you can check out my Color Wash Flower tutorial that I posted this morning. http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...h-flowers.html
