This is my card for Betty. Betty is the good friend of a fellow teapotter and she is dealing with some very serious health issues. Her nickname is Sunshine, so we are bringing sunshine and flowers here way. For more info and to play along, please see here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
We were kinda supposed to make cards with lots of flowers and flower carts. Goodness knows I have a tonne of flower images, however, we were also told that encouraging words and/or scripture would be appreciated, so I went in a little different direction. I made the text my focal point and added the extras.
Printed digi image and cut out with fiskars scissors. Sponged the edges. Attached bottom layer then my text layer. The butterfly is a mirror, covered with a variety of alcohol inks (added variety of drops of alcohol inks to felt, added the blending solution and dabbed on the mirror until I got a colour that I liked). I printed the flower image and coloured with Bic and Sharpie markers. I fussy-cut around it and attached it with pop dots. Attached the crystals in the corner and added a bit of Stickles in the centre of the flower. Hopefully our cards will bring good vibrations to Betty. tfl My card was mailed today

Charlene, this is awe inspiring - where most of us are adding a Scripture inside - you put it first and foremost where it belongs!! Bless your heart for being so thoughtful!
