This week's teaparty (yes, I am on time for the second time in 12 months# involves a celebration of Sponge Bob by some of his distant relatives #I use those words loosely): Fudge Bob and Bon Bon Bill. Actually, all I really remember is that to get cookies I have to have yellow, Sponge Bob something, and a heart (or just a heart if I want to get in the back or side door# - oh, just point me to the cookies girls! If you want to play check out the real rules:
This card is off to Joshua who is only 5 and is facing something no 5 year old or their loved ones should ever have to face! What a worthy destination station - I have tears just typing this.
Anyway, this card looked so much cooler when I planned it in my mind. I never factored in that sponges absorb ink! Oh well, I still think it is cute. Do you see that blue panel in the middle that looks like I no longer know how to cut, measure, or center anything? A few months ago I bought a $10 sewing machine and attempted to sew something. I sewed this panel and it didn't work out so I saved it. It has my only attempt at sewing on it. Needless to say, the machine quit working during this attempt - I guess I need to move up to the $20 dollar machine #LOL).

Oh my gosh is that ever cute. Fudge Bob is so funny-I think he may need braces!!! lol I just got such a kick out of this. Is that an actual piece of sponge??? I like the background - it looks like you meant it to be that way. Where on earth did you get a $10 sewing machine??? Good Will??. I have seen them for $6 there. You can sometimes find a good "real" sewing machine not the fake ones Benzi sent to Pam. Your $10 one may just need a good cleaning, some oil, and threaded properly. Most times I find a machine doesn't work because it is not threaded correctly. Anywho-this card is adorable and I love the three little hearts on the side too!!!

Bwahaha! Girl, you crack me up! I love seeing you at the teaparty so early but I love seeing you at the teaparty late too! Tee hee! OMG! This sewed panel is sheer perfection and what a creative mind you have! Using a real sponge! Genius! Who cares about all that factoring in stuff....I failed factoring in in Kindergarton, Middle School, Junior High, High School and had I gone to college, I would have failed factoring in at the college level as well! Snort! This card is so so fun and Joshua will get such a kick out of it!
Now, for those cookies....let's go get some! Race ya...Wait a minute...did I mention to you where I hid them? Dang it! I really gotta hire a cookie assistant with a good memory! Know of one?
Whisper...I would let you borrow my sewing machine but it doesn't really sew in a straight line, stupid thing keeps going crooked....lets just have Pat (kokirose) do our sewing! She won't know what we are up to and when she figures it out, we will pay her in cookies! Snort!

I LOVE THIS!!! what a wonderful and fun idea!! I love the bg you made too, looks planned to me!! Don't tell anyone, but I couldn't sew a straight line if I had to, (straight is not in my persona) thus I don't use a sewing machine! This card makes me smile and chuckle, so it's a winner!!

Aw, Nancy - this all looks like it was PLANNED TO BE LIKE THAT !! perfect - - well not really - SpongeBob has a way of having things turn out differently than he wanted too - so you can be twins!!
Love that you used a real sponge!! LOVE the crazy stitching (kokirose would be proud!) and the three little hearts on the bottom show how MUCH heart you put into this card for little Joshua - did you check out his pictures on his website - what a sweetie - he is going to FLIP over this card!! LYMI!

As soon as I spyed this I knew it was yours Nancy. You'll reduce yourself to even use a sponge on your card. Hopefully, it was a clean one - LOL! What a brilliant idea to use the sponge for none other than SpongeBob!!!! Keep your sewing machine and oil it up girl cuz if you're depending on Benzi to send you a real sewing machine that works, you'll be a waitin' a long time. I love your creativity sis!
