I don't ususally use this many pictures on my pages, so this was a challenge for me!
The journaling is hidden under the pictures on the bottom, there are 2 different pull outs, one on each side
Journaling reads:
Most people carve pumpkins, not Kendalyn! Nope she pokes them! And pokes and pokes and pokes! It was so funny watching her poke her pumpkin lid while Daddy was hard at work trying his hand at Pumpkin Carving. IÂ’m usually the one who carves the pumpkins, but this year Rob wanted to give it a try. So I let him!
I think he did a really good job! Maybe next year weÂ’ll find pumpkins that arenÂ’t so thick! These pumpkins were close to 3 INCHES thick! It was so hard to scrape the insides out just to get them ready for carving!
The other weird thing about these pumpkins was they were already sprouting from the INSIDE! When we finally got the tops off, we opened them up to find pumpkin sprouts! Ok, IÂ’m no scientist, but I thought you needed light in order for things to sprout? It was just strange. Anyway, we didnÂ’t roast the seeds from the pumpkin with the sprout inside (which was a shame, cuz there were LOTS!). Hopefully next year we will get NORMAL pumpkins to carve and poke! Oct. 2005
