Today's free for all challenge called for us to make a thank you card using the embellishment that we are most thankful for or that we're "known" for. Well, I could think of embellishments that others are known for: bows, bling, twine/buttons, etc. However, I had a much harder time thinking of things in regard to myself!!! I came up with the square lattice embossing folder, sponges, distressing tool...but really those are more technique related. I finally realized that I use a lot of seam binding and hemp.
So here it is...I had these leaves already in my stash and I'm not completely sure how I did them other than that I had a piece of Sahara Sand paper on which I'd stamped the Medallion bg stamp in Crumb Cake ink then used Versamark with some marker thumping and embossed in clear ep. I used this week's challenge colors as I had the turquoise hemp and the stickers. Of course, as happens with alphabet stickers, I didn't have all the letters I needed so I added the "you" in the other color. I mounted the leaves over a sponged sky with one popped up. These were layered over a lattice embossed panel and a Turquoise panel that were distressed as were the card edges.
