This is for CA142 to use red, chocolate and cream. I immediately thought of the SU bird punch when I saw the color combo. I like the branches mixed with the punched pine foliage. I created a little brown face for the bird and added a second tail. Don't ask me what kind of bird it is. It's red and it fits the challenge. LOL!
I used a stylus to form the branches to create more dimension and interest. The red layer was crimped for another bit of texture but I purposefully left the main card layer total clean. I like the bright pop of red with the brown and cream foliage. My blog: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/
PS...I broke my pine branch punch on this heavy cream cardstock. I could tell it wasn'[t working that well late so I found one on Amazon last night and ordered it. I would have totally had a heart attack if I didn't have another one coming. I do have a green one I got at Walmart but it only limps along so I just use it for emergencies...like tonight.
