This month of October has definitely been a month of hope! Many reading this have been personally affected by breast cancer....most of us know one or more cancer survivors, know someone who is going through treatment now, or some of you have lost a loved one in the past. All through this month, many wonderful stampers have stepped in and contributed hand-made cards to those in need of love and encouragement.
For this card I used the ODBD set, Praying for a Cure - started with a base of Pink Pirouette, and added a layer of Beau Chateau, used the ODBD Elegant Ovals Nesties for my embossed Scripture, and the frame around it. Next, came some rhinestone swirls and a bunch of punched flowers with stickles. Finished it off with some lace across the bottom and some stitched trim.
Our Daily Bread is one of many sponsors for the Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. Make sure to check out the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Forums. There are daily challenges and many prizes given away by the many generous sponsors. You can even win one of the 5 $50 gift certificates to the ODBD store! Check out the ODBD blog for details!
To further support this great cause, ODBD has also released a new stamp set called Praying for a Cure, and a portion of the proceeds from sales of this new stamp set sold during October will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
