I'm a teapot virgin. This is my very first ever TPT challenge, and man o man, lemme tell ya, I laboured over this one! LOL I don't think it's supposed to take almost 5 hours to make a card but I got it done.
The objectives were to use a fairy . . . get cookies . . . no idea how that works, but cookies are good donkey . . . . . I have a dragon fairy . . . that's gotta be good for at least one cookie huh?
I don't have any flourishes but I coulda photoshopped those on but I wasn't smart enough to do that BEFORE taking a picture of it.
I got the pink and blue though! Oh, and extra pearly thingies to make up for the complete lack of flourishes.
I wonder how many cookies I can expect to receive and how long do I have to wait to get them? Dinner's in a half hour.
Anyways, the inside of the card says "You're still moving forward". I wanted to be a bit different and inject a touch of levity where usually there is none. This comes from something my 13 yr old son said to me when he was helping me through a tough time . . . he said "Mom . . . there's always and upside to the downside . . . sometimes you just have look harder to find it, so start lookin'!" It made me laugh, and I never forgot it so it seemed somehow appropriate based on the write up for Michelle.
Thanks for lookin'!

Your Son sounds very clever, doesn't it just put a smile on your face when they say or do something like that!

Welcome to the crazy world of teapotters. Hate to say it but it looks like you will fit right in, loved reading what you had to say. Your card is adorable. Worth every minute of that 5 hours.
Your son sounds like a very wise young man.

What wonderful wisdom from a 13 year old! A delightful sentiment for Michelle...and your card is pure delight! Wonderful image, colors, paper and trim - nicely done! Welcome to the teaparty! So funny, when I first summoned the courage to "take tea" I used the very same virgin phrase I hope to see you back again soon...this is THE place to be on Tuesdays.
PS: two of my five are now 13 year old twins...I know about wisdom (and the lack of it) on their part. Hugz!
