From the beginning, Rutabaga Stories...Understandblue....
1.She's just a girl that loves blue.
2.She's sneaky.
3.She can make you cry happy tears with one phone call!
Sounds simple, but Lydia is so much more. She is an artist with heart, and one of the most encouraging people I have never met! Lol- she babysat me through my Dirt Pile days, and always made me smile! I can still hear her “SQUEEEEEE” and the heart-felt delight that came with that phrase. Lydia, thank you for all you are.
Today this card spoke to me, and helped me to Understandblue....
Keeping your layout, and using a bird image, I distressed the edges, added some pearls, stitches and my favorite delish blue satin ribbon in your honor. Hugs-n-Squeeee's to you sweet friend! Enjoy your day! (I haz a happy!)
Thanks for looking!

Wowzers, Pat, this is truly a beauty - and a wonderful CASE of Lydia's beauty. Love your distressing, the pearl swirls, the bow - well everything about it. Another for my FAVS. TFS.

Awwww, look at you caseing understanding blue...you do understand and more than blue, because you make me all red with joy when I giggle with you on the phone...I mean "pone".
Very well done, Lydia will love this for sure. I need to get one done for her. You are right Pat, she is on of us right! he, he,he!
Will be seeing MM tomorrow...did not get to babysit on the week-end and cried the whole time. Poor Pierre, he just didn't know what to do to make me smile. I might be stretching the truth just a wee bit here, but you know how I am. You get the idea, I was a sad Grammy for missing out on loving that baby girl! xo
