This weeks challenge is to bring masculine golf cards!
My card will be going to Nathan, he is a young man (31) currently undergoing chemo for acute myelogenous leukemia. You can read his story by following the link. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I used Golf Riley for my card today. Riley is coloured with copics and I coloured his putter with a silver copic atyou spica. For a little dimension, I added a white brad as the golf ball.
The card base is night of navy, with a layer of dp from Basic Greys Oliver. The giant golf ball was made with the largest circle nestie and then embossed with the tiny bubbles EF and the edges are sponged with sahara sand.
The main image is popped up. The sentiment is from a clear set I got a while back from Kolette Hall/Hampton Art called circle sentiments.
I finished it off with some taffeta ribbon and a little buckle!

OMG! Laurie! This is so very awesome! Does Riley know that big ole gargantuous golfball is behind him! Yikes! OMG! I love the layout of this card! It rocks! I absolutely love your coloring and that fun argyle (sp?) behind the scenes....good thing you didn't bring that in goofy bloomer pant thingies!
Hey, did your find your ball yet? I think its in the rougher rough! Maybe even in that tree in that sandy spot in the middle of that lake! What? You can still hit it out! You big chicken!

WOW, I love that giant golf ball!! I can almost hear Riley saying "Fore" as he gets ready to hit that ball! I'd be getting out of the way of that one. Great coloring and bg dp!!
