This is for Faith's sketch challenge today. I chose to go with the rectangle card.
All my paper is textured white. Started with a white base, the next layer was stamped in Soft Suede with the Bella Toile bg stamp and mounted on Soft Suede. The next layer was stamped in both Soft Suede and River Rock using the Linen bg stamp also mounted on Soft Suede. The larger of the two smaller layers was sponged using River Rock first and then adding Soft Suede, the smaller was sponged in Soft Suede only, both mounted on Soft Suede. The vases and sentiment are from Serendipity's Vases set stamped in Black Stazon and watercolored. I cut the vases out and used dimensionals to attach. It really added the depth I was looking for although I don't know how well it shows in the photo.
TFL and I always enjoy your views and kind comments. This will be my last post until next Wednesday as I'm going on a little July 4th vacation. So...Happy Wednesday and Happy 4th!! Have a safe holiday everyone!

What a beauty! I absolutely LOVE the linen bg stamp. You used it so well here, your paper looks so rich. What intricate cutting on your vases too, makes the image just pop right off the page. Very nice!

Who says a card needs to be bold and bright to be beautiful! WOW!!! I just love what you did with this creation! Cutting the vases out and popping them up along with the sponging is perfect! = )

I love your card with it's wonderful texture!! It has a really cool feeling to it. I hope you enjoy your few days away. They can be so good for the soul, and renew your creativity as well - not saying that you need help in that area. :>)

Not only a fantastic job coloring those vases, but also in cutting them out with so much detail! I love the earthy tone of your whole card with the blue to make it all pop.
