This represents Connie Jo and Cathy Sue (sputnik and mutnik) in our early days. I am eleven days shy of being four years older than my sis, mutnik. Her birthday is in January and mine in February but EVERY January on her birthday, she would say she is only 3 years younger than me. It is kind of funny that now that I am OLD, she doesn't mention the difference any more!!! Cathy would always try to be a little taller too as the little girl in this image is trying to be. This is soooooo us!!!
The measuring stick on the wall is perfect too because my sis can draw anything and everything!! The embossing folder on the bottom right edge shows a mixed up sequence of numbers....representing the reason for this challenge by Cindy that the teapot pot group cannot count. I think I am coming in the front door on this one....sure hope there are some cookies....chocolate chip fresh out of the oven!!!
Love Tuesdays!!! Thanks Cindy for another great story.
hugs to all of my sisters.

aww.. Connie... what a precious image...awesome colouring. It sure does bring back memories of being measured when my siblings and I were little.... My Granny and Grandad had a special spot on their wall, that they recorded all of our height changes over the years.... Love the story of you and Mutnik....

What a cute image, and a great choice of embossing folder to go with it. I enjoyed your story, too. My younger sis is taller than I am, sniff, but she needed to start colouring her hair in her twenties, whereas she used to peer at me and ask accusingly (in a nice way) where my grey hairs were.
I remember trying to get measured taller than I actually was - this image is so true-to-life.

Ha ha! What a great image of the two of you......Most recently we painted the wall where we kept track of my son's frequent and continual growth spurts! I was bummed.....my son was not....As he approached 6'5", he decided that if he quit standing against the wall, he would quit growing. Ask me if that worked? Snort!
I can so relate....but not to the part about being old like Cathy! What's a sister to do? Ha! If you gimme a cookie fresh from the oven and I will ask you sister how old she is...in front of the whole class! Snort!
