As soon as I saw the sketch for this week's sketch challenge, I thought about using the Medallion stamp. I also had created a piece of polished stone paper with a card in mind for the inspiration challenge over the weekend that I never had time to complete. Here was the piece of pottery that was the original inspiration http://www.italianpottery.com/item/R...nner-Plate-377 . I stamped in Versamark over the polished stone paper then embossed with clear ep. I then sponged on Regal Rose ink around the embossing and wiped the excess ink off the embossed parts. I cut a half circle of Basic Black to mount the image. I then embossed some Shimmer White cs with the Vintage Wallpaper ef (wish the shimmer showed up better on the picture!). I cut a frame of Basic Black that I then embossed with the Tulip ef and mounted over the white piece. I had a button in my button box that was just right! The sentiment was stamped in Versamark and embossed in black onto a scrap of the polished stone piece. I cut the ends by inserting the end into one of the hearts on the Heart to Heart punch. This was mounted onto a piece of organza ribbon and I then added a fork bow. Thanks for another great sketch to work with! I was able to whip this up "quickly" and can still get some zzzz's before I go to VBS in the morning!
