this is my card for TuesdayÂ’s color challenge #328. betty chose a great trio of colors with cherry cobbler, night of navy and crumb cake.
I didnÂ’t take any dessert this week. I ate enough over the weekend attending a cookout and a grad party (lol)!!
My image is from the wildflowers stamp set from sweet ‘n sassy stamps. I stamped it in cherry cobbler and old olive ink. I love how this silhouette stamp gives a "muted look" to the flowers. I was going to spritz it with water but I didnt think I needed to.
The sentiment is from the same wildflowers set stamped in night of navy.
I punched it out with a wide oval punch. I didnÂ’t have a scalloped punch big enough to layer the oval piece. my solution was to use the scalloped punch I had and cut it in half and layer the oval that way.
the crumb cake patterned paper is from a retired su hostess pack. I used a ms border punch and some cherry cobbler seam binding.
My bow is finished with a night of navy button to complete the card.
