This week our cards are going to another beautiful Sunshine state on the "other coast" from me. That's Florida for those that don't know. Sandy is going through another bout of chemo for Breast Cancer , so some Tea Party good wishes are on their way!
Anyway, this little sweet round card is what ended up with.
I had flying dodgeballs with butterflies,
there was a big one with lace,
but this sweet little redesigned one,
is my saving grace.
It might not be all the rage,
but it's got the pink, purple and sage.
It's surface has a shimmer that you can see
when it's headed straight for you and me.
The edging is ruffled with a deco fan
just don't kick it as hard as you can.
I'd swear I was in the sauna with Donna
but it was just a cursed hot flash.
Deanna will love this little redesigner
she won't have to spend a lot of cash.
Molly won't get this case,
Cuz' Chad Inventafad
will win this designers race.
The edge was done with the MS Deco Fan corner punch.
Button Button,
who's got the button
wow did that bring back ancient memories. Grandpa used to play this with us eons ago, sometimes he had a big penny for us, other time it was a whole dollar.
Thanks for those wonderful ancient memories, Cindy!

Ha! Back to say something about the poem! You my friend, are a poet? Did you know it? I thought I was in the sauna with Donna too? We might be having too many cookies!!

This is just outstanding. The center stamped image is just gorgeous and the button tops it off perfectly. I can see your new designer dodge ball hitting the runway and taking the industry by storm. It is so pretty and very bright and cheerful.

Lorraine (pidgesmom) and I shared the same thought -- it looks just like a Pennsylvania Dutch hex sign. I love the bold colors. And your poem was inspired!!!

Wonderful card & poem, Jennifer. In the thumbnail, your card reminded me of some of the bright Italian pottery design from this past week-ends IC. Love its bright cheeriness.
