I used this gorgeous portrait from Class Act/Chapel Road for this Old World Look technique. The papers from Basic Grey's Curio collection complement this look perfectly. A simple sheer brown ribbon bow is the finishing embellishment on this Old World card.
To achieve this look, I used a brayer to ink up the stamp with Straw and Wild Honey inks. I sponged some Tea Dye around the edges, and then deepened it with Vintage Photo and finally Walnut Stain inks. To be honest, I went through about 10 tries before I finally got this smooth look. Don't be discouraged if your first try looks like a messy blob - that's how mine looked too! :-)
