For today's Ways to Use It challenge, A Vision in Vellum.
This congratulations card uses a piece of beautifully patterned vellum from a Webster's Pages 4" x 4" vellum sampler pack I won recently. So pretty and detailed, it's a shame to cover it up! So I kept my design simple. I thought that a handmade ruffled ribbon rosette and a few mulberry paper roses were all this needed.
My beautiful circle frame is from DeNami Design, and I paired it with a perfectly sized congrats sentiment.
Thanks for taking a look!
Emily

WOW, Emily....that is GORGEOUS vellum!! I've never seen anything like it. Have to keep my eye out! : ) Your card is exquisitely done and as you wished, really displays this wonderful paper to best advantage. Your zigzag machine stitching is a great way to anchor it and is decorative itself.

I really like your layout with the centered circle element showcasing the beautiful vellum piece...stitching was a great idea, I 'm never sure quite how to attach vellum.
