This is for IC288 and Dali Decals is our inspiration site for today. When I saw this Girlfriend line of stamps by Art Impressions I knew I had to have some of them. I have three sisters and we range in age from 57 to 66. I thought these little four older ladies with their bright clown like cheeks and dressed in their stylin' boots and clothes were adorable. In real life I am not very stylin'. LOL But a couple of my sisters are quite stylish. I knew this line of stamps would make perfect multiple cards to send to my three sisters. I was inspired today by the bright primary colors in this lighthouse/couch decal. http://dalidecals.com/Lighthouse-Wal...-Stickers.html
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and stamped the umbrella on scrap paper to cut out and pop up. I painted the image with bright almost full strength reinkers to create the cartoony effect. This is definitely an image that would be really bright and crisp if done with Copics but since I was so challenged with mine I sold them. But...you can really come pretty close watercoloring. I have no embossing folders large enough to emboss a 5" piece of cardstock so I added texture by crimping. I thought the girls would look perfect set in an oval frame and I added no embellishments as I think these girls stand alone beautifully without them.

I bet you are more stylin' than you think, Kittie! The flair you have with cards I'm sure carries over into many aspects of your life! This card is SO fun and brings a smile to one's face. Love the blue corrugated bg to emphasize all the wonderful colors and coloring in your image.
