A CAS card is unusual for me. My norm is to use every bit of ribbon and sparkly thing that I can glue down on my card. This week our destination is Lindsay, a young mother who must spend a month in the hospital receiving chemo. We were to put together a kit so she could make her own cards for something fun to do in hospital. The flower on this card is rounds of ribbon basically melted with a heatgun. I made 2 kits for Lindsay, one with the flower already constructed and the other with the circles precut and instructions for how to make her own flowers.

OMG Elizabeth! How wonderful that you did this for Lindsay. That flower is da bomb and what a fun way to get this look...melting something down! Snort! I love this CAS...I know, I know, they aren't easy for many of the teapotters but I can so see your attempt at keeping this one a little less glued upon! Snort! So very beautiful.....thanks for taking that extra step for Lindsay..she will have all of the nurses marveling at her ability in no time at all! Whoot!
