I had stamped these fish last week thinking I might use them for the Teapot Challenge, but I'm glad I put them aside because I think they fit even better with today's Teapot Challenge.
The background is another scrap of some Polished Stone paper I had put aside. The seaweed is a portion of Riot of Petals that I had in my scrap box. It reminded me of a sea anemone.

Very cool card. Everything is very well put-together especially considering you pulled them from your stash! Love the detail on the seaweedy-thingy and the colour!

This is the ultimate gorgeous card. How incredibly clever to use the Riot of Petals that way, especially because it's an impossible stamp to ink and perfectly-print the whole image.
Never in a million years would I have bought Patterned Pets, but I just found it on Ebay and am so excited because I can think of many cards I'll make with that set too.
As for the background, I'm a technique junkie sooooo looking forward to learning to make Polished Stone paper.
Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing your talent. I know I won't be able to duplicate this gorgeousness, but I hope to come close while trying.

WHHAAAAA! I didn't come close, but sure gave it the old college try. Everything was put together and looked fine, but then the fish would not stamp on my acrylic-sealed Polished Stone paper. Hard to believe I got stumped at the finish line, after hours and hours and the dreaded fussy-cutting of Riot of Petals. But the trying was fun, and I'm glad to have the stamps I otherwise would never have bought.
Thanks Lorraine, found your blog and love seeing your great creations.
