The sketch and the color challenge are hard challenges for me. When I saw the sketch today I immediately thought of my new high hopes stamps with the rain rain go away sentiment. I struggle with the colors and layout. I think I had every piece cut in every color I was using, just trying to make it work where I was happy.. I think it is one of the those days where nothing will make me happy, LOL it must be all the rain we are having.... SO..... it is what it is....
The dot panel was done with the sizzix ef and then I rubber versamark over it and then put it back into my cuttlebug with the c & b plates with a piece of cardboard to make it snug... I wanted the flatter look but still showing texture.
Wish List: I would like an ef with small rain drops on it.. I do have a texture plate with bigger raindrops but I think it is packed cause I can't find it....
Thanks for looking and your kind comments...

Are you kidding me??? This is so DARLING !! But I'll admit I have had cards that I have cut every piece in a layout out of every color and every color DSP to make myself happy. In the end the receiver is always happy even if my vision started with something different. Super cute card.

Irene this is PERFECT - specially for Ohio today!! It is raining again today. Your image is adorable and I love how you did the senti. This is a fabulous looking card and I love the colors. Cool idea w/ the bugged b/g.
I like your idea of an ef of raindrops. Maybe you should suggest it to the manufacturers. You can try looking at the ef from the UK too - they have ones we don't have in the States.

Your card is so soft and sweet! I love how it turned out, and you should be proud of it too! I do know what you mean though about having trouble to piece everything together to satisfy yourself. Nice to know I'm not alone..... ((hugs))

I LOVE your card!! I just changed my Facebook profile pic to a picture of rain! it's still gray here and has been for a while! I think this is jut soo sweet and I think I might have to look through my stamps to make a "rain" card to give to my daughter! Poor girl has been wanting to go to the park for weeks!! Think if I make her a cute card with rain on it, it'll make her laugh!! Great job using the sketch, and thank you for the inspiration!!~
