Joanne(sleepyinseattle) gave us these lovely spring colors for the Color Challenge today:
Certainly Celery (pale green)
Blushing Bride (peachy pink)
So Saffron (a muted banana yellow)
Dessert Option: Flowers!
I had purchased "The Paper Garden" by Susan Tierney Cockburn while at a stamping store in CT a few weeks ago. I was enthralled with her beautiful blossoms crafted from paper.
I decided to give it a try, using what materials I had on hand. I did a simple blossom last Saturday for the IC, but these lilies were a little more involved. Of course, this is a card to be hand-delivered to a special friend on her birthday! No USPS rollers and gears here! ; )
