Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Technique: Ovals. I decided to also use the Image Alteration Technique.
Ever decide to be creative, just for the satisfaction of being able to look at something and think, "Hey, I can change that!" Well, I decided to change the look of this watering can!
I stamped the images onto Snow Storm Smooth in Noir Palette Ink. I waited until the images were dry. (I used a Heat Tool.) Next, all the images were colored with Copic Markers: W1, W3, YR65, YR20, BG15, BG45, BG32, BG49, BG01, E33.
The watering can has a top that I CUT OFF. I put it to the side and placed the CAT inside. She's from the MFP set: More of Speedy the Cat's Friends. I trimmed off her paws and put them INSIDE the can reaching out! Then, I trimmed off the tail and placed that behind the cat and then waving out.
I used Double Sided tape to adhere the pieces in place. There were areas behind the cat that were open, so I used the watering can TOP behind the cat image and it closed off the area and increased the "look" of the cat actually being inside the can.
I added in the small eggs the basket in the MFP set: Spring Has Sprung.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 42 minutes.

Talk about altering...this is great! Kitty looks like she is having so much fun relaxing/playing in the watering can. Just too adorable, Faith.

You did a great job of getting your little kitty in the watering can. I love the rich colors you used and how your eggs match so nicely. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Easter!! :>)
